A whole timetable of junior events throughout the Multisport weekend. Swimming, Running and Triathlon we have a mix of races, experiences and fantastic ways for the whole family to get involved.

Triathlon
Race Date: 11/05/2024
Swim: 50m open water swim
Bike: 5km bike ride through the estate - can be completed on any bike.
Run: 1km run through Burghley
Entry fees:
8+ yrs £10
15+ yrs £20
Start time: From 4:15pm
Cut Off time: 5:15pm
Minimum age: 8 yrs
The perfect introduction to Triathlon. Open to all ages from complete beginner. There will be a comprehensive guide available pre race and a thorough race briefing. You can use any serviceable bike that you have available.
You're welcome to race, take in the experience or enjoy as a family - you complete the swim bike run mini however you like.
Entries are limited - includes a finisher medal, race numbers, chip timing, water safety.
Wetsuits The swim is short, but in May the water temperature is likely to be early to mid teens centigrade. Wetsuits are compulsory for this event.
Bike: Any bike is acceptable as long as it is road worthy and the brakes work!
Helmet: Compulsory during the bike stage.
General clothing: Swimwear/wetsuit. Cycling/ Run Clothing
Instruction pre race: This event is designed to be accessible for complete beginners. We will send a thorough briefing pack, be on site to explain the event before the start gun and deliver a detailed race briefing.
Can parents race with their kids?: Yes that is fine. There are also family entries available.
Fun run

Run: 1km run through Burghley
Entry fees:
6+ yrs £6
Start time: 9:05am
Cut Off time: 9:25am
Minimum age: 6 yrs
The whole family can enjoy running through Burghley.. Open to all ages from complete beginner. Run or Walk, just enjoy the route and claim your finisher medal.
Adults and juniors welcome.
*Under 10's must be accompanied by an adult.

Swimming
Race Date: 11/05/2024
This is a non competitive junior swim.
Distance 50m, 100m, 200m.
You choose on the day - completely flexible.
Entry fees: £10
Includes water safety, swim hat, safety float hire, finisher medal.
Start time: 12:30pm
Cut Off time: 1pm
Minimum age: 8 yrs
Wetsuit compulsory.
Swim float compulsory - loan from us for free.
*parents may accompany juniors round the course for free but will not get a medal or swim hat.
General info
Registration
All entries are processed on the website prior to the event.
Athlete registration/check-in will be located at the event village.
Minimum ages
Minimum ages are set per activity and rely largely on insurance availability. We're really sorry but exceptions cannot be made to any minimum ages set regardless of experience, ability or availability elsewhere.
Results
Results will be available on the website immediately after the event. Results will be provisional for a week. Please let us know if there's any issues before the results become official one week after the event. The swim event is non competitive and will not be timed.
Prizes
All junior event finisher receive finisher medals for each event.
There will be no podiums for the junior events.

Please read the athlete guide that will be emailed to you prior to the race. It will include all the final race information needed for a stress free event experience.
Parking
Parking fees are included in your entry fee. please follow signs to event parking.
